How many sysadmins does it take to change a light bulb?

* One, IF you can prove that it was his system that caused the old one to burn out. (Of course, as I pointed out, you can't do that because a true BOFH will have altered the logs... to make it look like YOU made the bulb burn out, on purpose, along with the one in the boss's office, conveniently timed to cause him to trip over the network cables being strung by the ever-so-diligent PFY....)
* One, but it's so far down on the queue you may want to do it yourself
* 'The bulb was working before. What did you do to break it?'
* It should take 4, but due to understaffing, we only have one to do it.
* That's a tech-support job, isn't it?
* That's a desktop support issue - don't ask me.
* Only one, but you'll need to talk to three or four helpdesk staff first so they can make sure the light really is burned out, that you haven't just turned the switch off, and that there is really a light there at all.
* I'm sorry, that's a hardware issue and we can't help you with it. You'll have to get a hardware tech to take a look at it. Good luck.
