Finding fools

Conversation with senior academic:

$ACADEMIC:	OK, next is the assets database, why is it taking so long? How hard can it be to add a few fields to an Acess database?
$BOSS:	we don't have anyone who knows Access.
$ACADEMIC:	But utter fools use Access!
$BOSS:	that's the problem! We don't have any of those.
$ACADEMIC:	you can have some of mine....

We declined.
